Background

The EPOS Bureau proudly partner with Paxton & Whitfield to help manage their multi-branch retail operation, hamper production and despatch as well as their integrated e-commerce store.

Paxton & Whitfield's beginnings can be traced back to 1797. Their origins began on a cheese stall in Aldwych Market and then to Jermyn Street. The Company's reputation grew steadily culminating with the honour of being appointed cheesemonger to HM Queen Victoria. It was the first of several Royal Warrants that the Company holds. Today, Paxton & Whitfield still has its iconic business in Jermyn Street and shops in Cale Street, Stratford upon Avon and Bath.

This renown business has been a valued client since 2010.

James Rutter
Managing Director of Paxton & Whitfield

We bought into The EPOS Bureau because we needed to have all our product, sales and stock information in one place which was accessible to all. It was quite a culture change to get all staff in the business to take ownership of inputting the correct data but now they do, it's fair to say people would hate to be without it. Our system holds all our product and supplier information which populates our website, generates our BRC supplier reports and satisfies our Food Information Regulation requirements. The sales data ensures that we can forecast our requirements, crucially at our busy times and the stock information means that there is transparency around the business to ensure we can satisfy customer orders from all locations. The team at The EPOS Bureau have been extremely helpful and very flexible in ensuring that the system continues to adapt and develop as the needs of the business and the wider regulatory requirements move on.
